Features
The base for each size is a gunite pool on a flat lot with the standard equipment set, permits, startup, and the first 300 sq ft of decking included. A plunge pool or spool scales the base down, because the shell, excavation, and steel shrink while the equipment set stays similar. A spa, extra decking, slope, and each feature then add their own published planning ranges. Hillside lots carry the widest add because engineering, soils work, and retaining vary the most from lot to lot in this valley.
Every figure is a Conejo Valley planning range anchored on the published local range for a custom gunite pool, $90,000–$165,000 fully installed, updated October 2026. Nothing here is imported from out-of-market price lists. The full tables are on the cost guide.

Calculator questions
It is a ballpark built from local planning ranges, and it is honest about its own limits. It cannot see your soil, your slope, or your side-yard gate. Expect the site visit to move the number inside the range, and occasionally outside it when a lot hides something, like rock or a utility run nobody mapped.
Because a point price for an unseen lot is fiction. Arizona's high-volume builders run the same format this calculator uses: an instant range online, then a real estimate on site. We copied the format and replaced every input weight with Conejo figures.
No. The result shows on this page with no email wall. If you want the ballpark sent to you with a design summary, use the optional form under the calculator. That is your choice, not a toll gate.
